Data Deletion
This page explains how to have your data deleted from ORA, including any data we obtained from Facebook or Instagram. You can request deletion at any time, and you can stop ORA's access to a connected social account whenever you choose.
Fastest route: email privacy@get-ora.ai with your request, or disconnect the relevant account in ORA under Settings → Integrations.
01 Dealers (ORA account holders)
Email privacy@get-ora.ai from your account email address, or disconnect your connected accounts and request account deletion. We will delete your account data and any connected-platform data within [30] days, except information we are required to retain by law.
02 Facebook and Instagram data
ORA only accesses public comments and the identifiers needed to reply, with the dealer's authorization. To stop ORA's access and have associated data deleted:
- Disconnect the account inside ORA (Settings → Integrations); or
- Remove ORA from your Facebook or Instagram settings (Settings → Business Integrations, or Apps and Websites); then
- Email privacy@get-ora.ai to confirm deletion of any retained data.
If you remove ORA through Facebook or Instagram, we treat that as a deletion signal and delete the associated data.
03 A dealership's customers and commenters
If you commented on a dealership's post and want data ORA holds about that interaction removed, you can contact the dealership, or email privacy@get-ora.ai with enough detail for us to locate it (for example, the platform and the approximate date). We will delete the information or route your request to the dealership that controls it.
04 What we delete and when
On a valid request, we delete the relevant personal information within [30] days. We may retain limited information where the law requires it — for example, consent and opt-out records — and only for as long as required.
